Welcome to MealMaster Pro! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MealMaster Pro application and services. By accessing or using MealMaster Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using MealMaster Pro, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using MealMaster Pro on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

MealMaster Pro is a web-based meal planning application that provides:

• Meal and recipe management
• Weekly menu planning with customizable templates
• Shopping list generation
• AI-powered recipe scanning (limited for free users, unlimited for premium)
• Cloud synchronization across devices
• Premium subscription features

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MealMaster Pro. By creating an account, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• All registration information you provide is accurate and current
• You will maintain the accuracy of this information
• You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. Subscription Plans and Pricing

4.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to the Premium plan, you:

• Authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis
• Agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• Understand that charges will continue until you cancel your subscription

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will:

• Be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance
• Not affect your current billing cycle
• Apply to your next billing cycle unless you cancel

5. Cancellation and Refunds

5.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through:

• Your account settings in MealMaster Pro
• The Stripe customer portal
• By contacting our support team

Upon cancellation:

• You will retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period
• You will not be charged for subsequent months
• Your account will automatically convert to the free plan

5.2 Refund Policy

Monthly Subscriptions: Due to the nature of our digital service, we generally do not offer refunds for partial months. However, we evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis for:

• Technical issues preventing service use
• Billing errors or duplicate charges
• Unusual circumstances at our discretion

To request a refund, contact support@mealmasterpro.com within 7 days of the charge with details of your issue.

6. User Content and Conduct

6.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create in MealMaster Pro (meals, recipes, menus, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a license to:

• Store and display your content within the app
• Sync your content across your devices
• Back up your content for service reliability

6.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute our service

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Property

MealMaster Pro and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Nexara Logic Systems and are protected by:

• Copyright laws
• Trademark laws
• Other intellectual property rights

7.2 Trademarks

"MealMaster Pro" and associated logos are trademarks of Nexara Logic Systems. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.

8. AI Recipe Scanning

The AI recipe scanning feature is provided "as is" and:

• Results may vary in accuracy
• Free users are limited to 50 scans per month
• Premium users receive unlimited scans
• We reserve the right to modify scan limits at any time
• Scans are intended as a convenience tool, not professional dietary advice

9. Third-Party Services and Advertisements

9.1 Third-Party Services

MealMaster Pro integrates with third-party services including:

• Firebase (Google) - Authentication and data storage
• Stripe - Payment processing
• Google AdSense - Advertisements (free users)

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9.2 Advertisements

Free users will see advertisements provided by Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of these advertisements. Premium users enjoy an ad-free experience.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

10.1 Service "As Is"

MealMaster Pro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free service

10.2 Not Professional Advice

10.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexara Logic Systems shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the service
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nexara Logic Systems and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of MealMaster Pro
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Your content uploaded to the service

12. Data and Service Availability

12.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted access to the service
• Error-free operation
• Freedom from viruses or harmful components

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

12.2 Data Backup

While we back up user data regularly, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important information. We are not liable for any loss of data.

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Deleting your account through the app settings
• Contacting our support team

13.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity
• Your payment method fails repeatedly
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the service

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use MealMaster Pro will immediately cease
• We will delete your data within 30 days (unless required to retain by law)
• You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of a subscription

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of MealMaster Pro shall be:

• First attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiations
• If negotiation fails, resolved through binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada
• Conducted in English

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date
• We will notify you via email or in-app notification
• Significant changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance
• Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

16. General Provisions

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nexara Logic Systems regarding MealMaster Pro.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

16.5 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or internet service interruptions.

By using MealMaster Pro, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
